Seeming as I did not add a about us part for the site I just decided to create it here, as its about contact and its good to look at our experience. Ill start of with myself ( nathan aka nay0r ) Basically after Half-Life came out ( 1998 ) I think, I then always wanted to level design but never really had the knowledge to, my general computer knowledge was very low but after reading up on an article in PCGamer magazine on how to level design I slowly progressed from there, After a few days of frustration trying to get a simple room to compile, once I did the mapping era began. Ever since then Ive continued to level design, for approx 4/5 years now. I went through alot of stages of ability, I started of very badly but after the release and design of Monk and started to advance at a very high rate. Personally de_citadel was my first real achievement then this progressed to the bigger level known as cs_intercept which was originally built and designed from my older map, cs_r66. I did plan to rebuild the petrol station into intercept but never found a real big enough area to fit this.
